The Manoir – The Private Rooms of Charlie and Oona

After Charlie Chaplin moved into the Manoir de Ban mansion in 1953, he set up his film archive in the basement. There he kept the 16mm prints of Chaplin classics such as “The Circus” or “The Vagabond the Child”, for which he later composed the film music. This basement room has been completely remodeled and can be rented as a vaulted hall for private events. The turnkey hall is decorated in the industrial style of Chaplin’s masterpiece “Modern Times” and is the ideal place for a work session, meeting or small group dinner.
