Every year hundreds of ballooners meet for the International Balloon Festival. Château-d’Oex in the Vaud Alps is the venue of the Balloon festival. The wintery alpine climate offers the best conditions for the colorful hot air balloons to rise. A nightly light and sound show, passenger flights and airshows complete the program.
